Signet Maritime provided towing vessels and crew boats to assist in the loadout of the Deep Panuke FPC (Field Production Center) onto the BOA Barge 36 in Abu Dhabi. Signet also assisted in towing BOA Barge 36 and Deep Panuke FPC from Abu Dhabi to offshore for loadout on HLV TALISMAN.

Signet Maritime provided tug assistance to escort the rig inbound to Keppel AmFELS for repairs and numerous shiftings while in port. The sailaway was conducted in conjunction with the Brazos Santiago Pilots to escort the rig for a safe trip down the Brownsville Ship Channel.

Signet Maritime provided towing tugs to assist in the transport of the ocean barge HAMRIYAH PRIDE loaded with a MOPU and assisted in the successful loadout of the barge and MOPU onto the HLV MIGHTY SERVANT I offshore Dubai.

Signet Maritime has been appointed Transportation Manager to tow tender barge SEAREX X from Cape Town, South Africa to Luanda Port and then to Platform Location, Offshore Angola, Luanda.  SMC is providing the ocean tug for the tow, MPRA/Pre-Tow/Tool Box talks, communications, agency and customs clearance coordination and an on-site project management. Harbor assist tugs in Port will also be provided.

Signet provided six assist vessels in the sail-out of ATP TITAN from the graving dock at Gulf Marine Fabricators (GMF). Signet joined with GMF project managers and Sphere towmasters to plan and execute the safe sail-away to the Port Aransas jetties for the transfer of tow.  The floating platform is the first of its kind and is rated for a design capacity of 25 MBbls of oil per day.

Signet Maritime was appointed Transportation Manager to tow a tender barge from Angola, Luanda to Walvis Bay, Namibia. SMC provided ocean, harbor and assist tugs, pilots, Towmaster, MPRA/Pre-Tow/Tool Box talks, communications, weather reporting, agency and customs clearances and an on-site project manager.

Signet Maritime, on behalf of KCA DEUTAG, was appointed Transportation Manager to tow a tender barge from Keppel AmFELS, Singapore to Balikpapan, Indonesia.  SMC provided ocean, harbor and assist tugs, pilots, MPRA Meeting, Towmaster, communications, weather reporting, agency and customs clearances and an on-site project manager.

Signet was involved in the project from conception, with the push points on the Tension Leg Platform designed specifically for Signet's tractor tugs. Signet provided transportation for the beginning stages of topside construction for this project, attended the loadout and coordinated the delivery of the barges, and provided all of the support work at Kiewit Offshore Services fabrication facility. When the Tension Leg Platform arrived aboard a Heavy Lift Vessel to Ingleside, TX., Signet escorted the vessel in from sea and provided the tugs for ballast support, offload, positioning quayside, deballast and sail away. All loadouts, deliveries and tug assistance went well and without incident.

When the hull arrived on the Dockwise vessel, Signet provided the tugs to moor the vessel at the dock. We provided the tugs to position the Dockwise vessel in place, set the buoys to mark the channel, held the Dockwise vessel in position while ballasting down and then moved the hull off of the vessel and positioned it on the bulkhead. Signet then provided the vessels to assist the Dockwise vessel while de-ballasting and then sailing to sea. The topside loadout maneuvering and positioning for the three module lifts conducted at the Kiewit yard were all conducted by Signet vessels. During the construction and integration of the THUNDER HORSE project Signet provided numerous tugs and barges to facilitate the project completion. Signet then assisted the project down the channel utilizing our vessels in coordination with the tow master and the pilots to ensure a safe transit to sea.

Signet provided the tugs to transport the topside modules from the construction yard to Kiewit Offshore Services yard to be lifted and integrated with the TLP hull. The barges for spacers and transportation were contracted for and provided by Signet. Utilizing owned and chartered vessels, Signet moved the TLP to Gulf Marine Fabricators yard for continued work. The tugs then conducted the incline experiment and escorted the project to the Aransas Pass jetties.
