Business Development Coordinator - Houston, TX
Commensurate with Experience
Signet Maritime Corporation has an immediate opening for a detail-oriented, self-motivated and organized Coordinator in the Houston office. The ideal candidate will have a maritime background and willingness to assist the Business Development Managers. Signet is seeking an individual with the ability to interact with staff at all levels in a fast paced and ever changing environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient while always maintaining a high level of professionalism.
- Support business development efforts by researching and identifying business development prospects;
- Generate power point productions for Business Development to deliver effective presentations to sustain and create new business;
- Create, track and maintain accurate databases, contact records, customer;
- Schedule and organize company activities such as meetings, conferences and department activities;
- Complete Vendor Forms as necessary;
- Read and distribute reports and provide a summary and recommendations to BD Manager;
- Maintain Rig Reports (Rig Owner, Rig Manager, Rig Type, etc.);
- Gather various tug documentation for the Customer (COD, COI, Tow Wire Inspections, etc.);
- Create Proposal Letters for review;
- Update Marketing List;
- Review Oil & Gas websites to keep up with current work;
- Attend Customer visits when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a highly accredited university;
- Maritime back ground.
