HSSEQ Coordinator - Port Fourchon, Louisiana (Full Time)

Job Description

Signet Maritime Corporation has an immediate opening for HSSE Coordinator to support our Operations in the Gulf. This position is located in one of our port locations. This position is responsible for inspecting and auditing vessels within the fleet to ensure they maintain compliance with all applicable rules and regulations. Successful candidates will be expected to work with the office staff as well as crewmembers onboard the vessels.

Duties and Responsibilities

1. Provides the HSSEQ and Compliance Managers with support for the overall safety and regulatory condition of the vessels in Signet Maritime's fleet;;
2. Prepares and tracks audit and survey findings as well as all required follow up activities to remain in compliance;
3. Work with the entire HSSEQ team to ensure the vessels have the appropriate documentation onboard;
4. Maintain a working knowledge of HSSEQ related regulatory, industry & customer requirements,
5. Visit vessels as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required;
   • Minimum GPA of 3.0;
2. Three (3) years' experience in Marine Safety or Marine Inspections;
3. USCG Deck License with sailing experience is preferred.
4. A current and valid driver's license and dependable transportation to travel to and from the vessels.
